The next step is obviously to shop it to Hulu, which also has a history of saving shows, especially where Mindy Kaling is concerned. When her comedy, The Mindy Project was dropped by Fox after its third season, Hulu came to its rescue, picking it up for a fourth, fifth and sixth season before the show came to a close. While Hulu has the in-season streaming rights for Champions, there's no word on whether it could live on to a Season 2 there.
